WWE: Triple H Adds Stipulation To WrestleMania 30 Match - Will He Main Event?

Triple H Bryan The opening segment on this week's addition of Raw was newsworthy because another stipulation was added to Triple H's WrestleMania 31 match with Daniel Bryan. Hunter started the night looking calm, but when Randy Orton and Batista showed up to complain about Bryan possibly being added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, Hunter lost his composure. He wondered why his former Evolution buddies didn't believe he could beat that "troll" Bryan. A fired up Triple H dropped a bombshell: If he beats Bryan at WrestleMania, then he gets to be added to the title match with Orton and Batista. It drew a big reaction from the crowd. Hunter did an excellent job of setting up the line, then delivering with the kind of authority (pun intended) you would expect from somebody in power. From a storyline perspective, it makes a lot of sense. If Bryan has the chance to win his match and get a shot at the WWE Title then Triple H should have that same opportunity. Even though he's not a full time competitor anymore, he's still somebody that has a lot of credibility with wrestling fans. It also adds to the idea that's he's corrupt with power, so maybe it will lead to Vince McMahon coming back and stripping him of power. Then again, it could lead to nothing. This stipulation also guarantees that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be contested in a triple threat match. While there have been other triple threat matches for major titles at WrestleMania, this will be the first time that the last match on the show (assuming it goes last) will be a triple threat match since WrestleMania 20. That was the night when Chris Benoit beat Triple H and Shawn Michaels to win the World Title in a match that WWE doesn't want its fans to remember. As soon as the stipulation was announced by Triple H, some fans were likely angry by it because it opens up the possibility of WWE screwing over Daniel Bryan again. It seems unlikely, though. WWE has set up the perfect scenario for him by beating Triple H early in the evening and then ending the show holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. They can't screw this up. At least that's what the majority of the WWE Universe is hoping for. http://youtu.be/306lziGP2vo
