WWE's United Kingdom Championship Tournament will return in June of this year, it has been confirmed today by Triple H.

Speaking at a Business Partner Summit in New Orleans, The Game announced that the company will host two nights at London's Royal Albert Hall on 18 and 19 June. This will form part of a four-day WWE marathon, with NXT TakeOver: Chicago and Money in the Bank scheduled for 16 and 17 June respectively.

Further details around its format and eligibility are yet to be disclosed. In a statement, the company makes fleeting reference to providing a platform for the "next great UK talent", although there is no word on whether this will again be a talent search competition, or simply a show for already-established stars like Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate (or a combination of the two).

Both Dunne and Bate competed at the inaugural UK Title Tournament in January of last year, the latter - then 19-years-old - emerging with victory after a two-day event in Blackpool. The duo have since fought sporadically on NXT shows, but neither have yet been fully integrated into the roster.
