WWE: Update On Daniel Bryan's Possible In-Ring Return

The health of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan has been a huge concern for WWE ever since his neck surgery two weeks ago. As we have reported a number of times, the surgery was considered minor and based on new reports from F4WOnline.com, it appears as though he is going to return to in-ring competition in June. Bryan was supposed to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Kane in a Buried Alive match at Payback this Sunday. Obviously that's not happening since Bryan is still out, but this new report states that the match is still scheduled to take place and the June 29 Money in the Bank PPV is where it will probably happen. In addition to the likely match at Money in the Bank, Bryan is advertised in a dark match main event at the Pittsburgh Smackdown tapings on June 24th in a match where he will team with The Shield vs. Randy Orton & The Wyatt Family. Obviously any live event or TV taping has a "card subject to change" phrase attached to it, so it's not an absolute lock, but these things were advertised in the last couple of days. That means WWE did it after receiving positive news about his health. They wouldn't advertise him if he wasn't going to be there for sure or if he was scheduled to miss two or three months of action. At Sunday's Payback show, Bryan has to decide if he wants to give up the WWE Title or see his wife Brie Bella get fired by Stephanie McMahon. There are a number of ways that the storyline could go, but it's likely that Bryan is going to keep the WWE Title after all. While it's a great sign that Bryan will be able to return to action towards the end of June, hopefully he's not rushing it and that he's completely healed. We will continue to update on any other information regarding the in-ring return of WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.
