WWE Wants Randy Orton Gone Permanently Says Former WCW Announcer

Former WCW announcer Mark Madden claims that WWE are angling to fire Randy Orton.

Former WCW announcer Mark Madden claims that WWE are angling to fire Randy Orton. He wrote on Twitter on Thursday;
"WWE wants to get rid of Orton PERMANENTLY. Character and popularity have plateaued, and he's a pain to deal with."
Madden's claims come in the same week when the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Vince McMahon was going back and forth over whether or not he should let Orton go after his second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy that currently sees him suspended for sixty days. Dave Melzter reported that there was a "small, vocal pocket" of WWE staff members who were growing in numbers that were lobbying for Orton's termination. In a response to Madden's comment, a Twitter user got in touch and asked Madden if McMahon had suddenly stopped liking money, to which Madden responded with;
"Vince thinks everybody is a WWE creation, and therefore disposable, to be replaced by another WWE creation. And you're overrating Orton."
Observer reports that Orton's suspension "isn't going to be that big a problem" as returning superstars from suspension/injury and the getting over of new talent means he won't be as missed. WWE Champion CM Punk is now being spoken of as the company's second biggest asset behind John Cena and that SmackDown is loaded with enough big names babyfaces now with World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, the returning trio of Christian, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio and the fact Daniel Bryan has such a vocal support right now.
