WWE Wrestlemania 29: Christian Spotted Backstage

WWE Christian Former WWE Tag Team, Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Champion Christian has been spotted backstage at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey just hours before WrestleMania 29 kicks off live. Christian has been on WWE's injured reserve list since last year after he suffered an aggravated shoulder injury shortly after appearing in the Smackdown brand's Money In The Bank Ladder Match and dropping his Intercontinental Championship to The Miz shortly after. Despite rumours that he would make his return at this year's Royal Rumble PPV Christian - real name William Jason Reso - has remained away from the WWE spotlight and has not been seen anywhere until earlier this week when fans saw him sneaking into WWE's hotel of choice in the middle of the night. Christian's decision to arrive under cover of darkness made many fans speculate he was in town as a surprise for Wrestlemania with many questioning what his role might actually be cometh the hour. Speculation died down somewhat though when Reso made an appearance at the Fan Axxes shows that have been taking place prior to the Hall of Fame ceremony in New York but with him now being spotted at the actual arena the internet is again abuzz with rumours that he will appear on the actual pay per view in some capacity. Wrestlezone.com has said Christian is now injury free and WWE are planning a return sooner rather than later. It is also believed Christian will return as a babyface which really makes you wonder exactly where he would make his presence felt should he show up on television tonight. Could he save his old nemesis Albert Del Rio from the devious partnership of Jack Swagger and Dutch Mantel or perhaps be the surprise opponent for an unscheduled Antonio Cesaro? Or maybe he wont return as a babyface at all and will be the man who helps The Shield keep their undefeated streak alive? We could suggest many different scenarios but for now we'll have to be content in knowing he's in town and there's a very small chance he may return live tonight at Wrestlemania 29.
