WWE WrestleMania 29 Fantasy Booking: 10 Matches That Should Take Place

Intercontinental Championship

Chris Jericho (c) Vs The Miz BREAK THE WALLS DOWN and out comes the multi time record holding Intercontinental Champion who, at this point, will have advanced that record to 10 time IC Champ. When writing my last article I had no inkling that Y2J would be returning and it has given me a slight headache as to what to do with him. But following his example of wanting to put over new talent, I decided that he could do just that and let an up and comer who has lost his way lately a bit of a chance. With Jericho not seemingly having a feud leading into the Chamber but having returned to a great reaction, I would see him taking on his most beloved championship belt. Also, Wade Barrett so far has done nothing with the IC strap and his early momentum has practically disappeared. Time to give it to someone who could actually do something I think! Next Sunday night let€™s have Barrett Vs Jericho for the title. Wade gets a good match, we get a good champ and all is well in WWE. The fans would love it and Jericho can make anyone care about his opponent. The Miz is a guy who could very well turn into a Jericho type character and Y2J€™s tutelage could help him on the way. Miz is very comfortable on the mic and Jericho is one of the best, I could see this feud playing out on the mic quite nicely and it would work regardless of who is heel/face at the time. A great match and it helps Miz out of the 4 way ladder match I had him in previously. Fantasy booking Winner: The Miz Jericho will be willing to put a guy like Miz over at the biggest PPV of the year. The fans in attendance will be respectful I€™m sure and will be smart enough to know what has happened. There won€™t be a massive roar for the title switch but a healthy round of applause. Great opening bout I reckons! The only problem I see is that Jericho could get caught up in yet another feud with Ziggler at the Chamber PPV causing serious doubts on this predicted match. Although you could see him take the belt the next night on RAW if he was to lose clean to Ziggy. Click Below for the second match of the night€
