WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Reasons The Undertaker Streak's Must End

4. It Would Be A Waste Not To Take Advantage Of The Streak's End

The Undertaker Everything in wrestling is done with a payoff in mind, everything is done for a reason. The streak serves as One of Vince McMahon's ultimate creations, a 21 year investment in storytelling which has been a huge promotional tool to accumulate fantastic box office receipts. But what is the end payoff? Does Vince just end the streak by having Taker win again and ride off into the sunset? Just look at Bill Goldberg and his WCW streak. How boring and futile would it have all been if one day Goldberg has just retired with that streak intact. Streaks are made for breaking. All good things must come to an end. The streak is more significant than any wrestling title. At 21 years it is the longest wrestling reign of all time. It would be a waste for WWE not to capitalize on this, they need to have Taker lose in order to fully maximize the impact of the end of this great wrestling fairy tale.
