WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Shocking Turns That Could Happen On The Night

9. Goldust

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-znqFgU58Y The Rhodes Brothers had a great dynamic between them over the past year, so much so that at one point they were the most interesting thing going in the company. Their alliance seems natural, as Cody and Goldust have an organic kind of brotherly chemistry, which helps them be instantly likeable as a tag team. Cody provides all the acrobatics and comeback expertise as is needed to get a duo over, and Goldust €“ at the age of 44 €“ is arguably the most relevant he's ever been as part of the team €“ bringing transcendent heaps of character, largely disregarding the bizarre sexual ambiguity of his past, in lieu of a much cooler persona. Overall, the two work extremely well together. But this would make it all the more shocking if their alliance imploded. The Rhodes Brothers have pretty much done everything they can in the team, and are now stepping aside within the division, working as a byline to The Usos, The New Age Outlaws and The Real Americans. Should the WWE wish to flip some of the duo's previous appeal on its head, a heel turn would be a perfect way to do that. How could it happen? Cody Rhodes has a youthful, up-and-comer babyface style about his persona, so that probably shouldn't be tampered with just yet. Therefore it'd make much more sense €“ out of the two €“ to turn Goldust. The method of doing it would be relatively simple, essentially transforming the brotherly love between the two, into brotherly animosity. Should The Rhodes Brothers feature in a match at WrestleMania XXX (if at all), the turn could come as Goldust simply attacks his brother for causing them to lose. It's really too early to predict whether this will happen or not, but if the team were to split and this were to happen, it'd be great if it did at WrestleMania.
