WWE WrestleMania 30: 7 Things Pessimistic Fans Are Worried About

Can we really trust the WWE to do the right thing with WrestleMania 30?

Mmm The WrestleMania 30 lineup is set with four heavily promoted major matches and four other matches that will likely be made official this Monday on Raw. When it comes to the lineup, things are in place to make fans happy. The babyfaces are likely going to get the wins. Then again, that's not what always happens as WrestleMania history would suggest. Remember WrestleMania 16's main event? It was a four way elimination match with WWE Champion Triple H defending against The Rock, Big Show and Mick Foley. After Show and Foley were eliminated, Rock faced off with Hunter. Most people thought The Rock would win. It was a lock. Wrong. Triple H won after Vince McMahon turned on Rock. At WrestleMania 19, heel World Champion defended his title against Booker T, who was really popular as a babyface. It would have been the biggest win of Booker's career if he won that match. Instead, Triple H beat him clean and it took Booker another three years to get to that level again. Two years ago at WrestleMania 27, heel Miz retained the WWE Title against John Cena thanks to interference from The Rock, who was always a babyface. It was a main event match used to set up a match one year away. Earlier in the week, we took a look at ten things that the optimistic wrestling fan hopes will happen at WrestleMania 30. Chances are most of those things are going to happen. There are pessimistic wrestling fans too, so it's only fair to look at the things they're worried about.
