WWE WrestleMania 30 Latest: 6 Top Matches Expected To Take Place

1. Randy Orton vs. Batista - WWE World Heavyweight Championship

The potential main event of WrestleMania is a match that some fans may not be as interested in as they would be if Daniel Bryan was involved, but Orton vs. Batista is what we'll most likely get. Whether it goes on last or whether they put Undertaker's match on last (that's what I would do), this is likely going to be one of the featured matches. Orton is the top heel in the promotion. He's the current WWE Champion. It makes sense that his title reign would last until at least WrestleMania where he can do the obvious thing and drop the title to a top babyface, who happens to be Batista. They teased it on the January 20 edition of Raw when Batista returned to WWE. It would be a battle of former Evolution members that have faced off plenty of times in the past although none of their matches were ever that memorable. They were just okay at best. Is it the kind of feud that is going to set the world on fire? No. It's not that bad, though. With the right build up and stories of their history being mentioned, they could do a good job in making it feel like a big deal. The outcome would be a Batista victory. No question about it. Would it be better if it was Daniel Bryan? Absolutely. All six of these matches could be babyface wins. That's what WrestleMania is. It's usually the show where major stories end and often times the good guy gets the victory because that's what the fans want. Some heels may win the other matches (whatever those may be), but for the most part it's a night for the heroes to be triumphant. WrestleMania 30 will be no different.
