WWE WrestleMania 33 Orlando Location Confirmed?

Is an official announcement imminent?

WrestleMania 33's location looks set to finally be announced. According to Justin LaBar of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, next year's show of shows will indeed be held at Orlando's Citrus Bowl as recent rumours have suggested. As we've noted many times, Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer has expressed loudly his interest in bringing either WrestleMania 33 or 34 to his hometown, and even flew to WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT to pitch the idea of holding one of the shows in the city. This will mark the second time the Citrus Bowl has hosted WrestleMania, although the stadium was completely renovated in 2014. Orlando's first WrestleMania outing came in 2008, when the twenty-fourth edition of the show saw Floyd Mayweather defeat The Big Show, Shawn Michaels beat Ric Flair to end "The Nature Boy's" career, and The Undertaker topple Edge to win the World Heavyweight Championship. It was the first WrestleMania in 15 years (and only the second overall) to be held outdoors, although in the years since, that's become a common occurrence. No date has been confirmed for WrestleMania 33 yet, but that information will likely be part of WWE's official announcement.
