A Sanity reunion could soon be underway at Full Sail, as it looks like Killian Dain is set to join Alexander Wolfe in returning to NXT.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, the big Northern Irishman could show up on NXT tapings as soon as today, as he heads back to Orlando following the dissolution of his faction during the Superstar Shake-Up.

Wolfe last week posted an elaborate social media message confirming he was leaving 'WWE', ahead of his shift back to the yellow and black brand. Meanwhile, stablemate Eric Young was subtly shunted to Raw without ceremony.

Dain's real-life partner Nikki Cross is currently in limbo. Although the company has recently made the non-traditional move to keep couples together - notably in the case of Zelina Vega and Aleister Black - Meltzer has reported that the Scot is set for Monday nights.

Vignettes announcing Sanity's SmackDown arrival began airing after last year's WrestleMania, but it wasn't until 19 June that the group finally made their debut. Since then, they have more or less been complete non-entities on Tuesday nights, their most notable contribution being a six-man tag team tables match against The New Day at Extreme Rules 2018.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
