WWF WrestleMania 14: 10 Things We Learned

9. WCW€™s Cruiserweights Have Nothing On WWF€™s Light Heavyweights

WCW has been impressing wrestling fans for years with its impressive array of cruiserweights. From Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio Jr., to Dean Malenko and Eddy Guerrero, WCW has shown that they have the best in the world when it comes to in ring talent. But that may not be true for much longer. At WrestleMania 14, Japanese sensation Taka Michinoku battled Aquila. The match was short but featured an incredible display of athleticism, including moonsaults, crossbodies and frankensteiners. The finish saw Taka put away Aquila with his finishing move, the Michinoku driver, retaining the Light Heavyweight championship. Both men shook hands after the contest, as they should have because this was WWF€™s response to WCW and if this match was any indication, the Light Heavyweights will be an integral part of WWF shows from this point forward.
