Xavier Woods may have suffered a knee injury at a WWE live event in Texarkana, Arkansas on Monday night (28 August), according to WrestlingInc.com.

The New Day were competing against Breezango and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos at the house show. As per the report, Woods incurred the injury when he pushed off incorrectly while attempting a jumping DDT. Xavier's knee buckled, he went down, and the referee flashed an "X" symbol to call the match. One of The Usos then rolled Kofi Kingston up for an impromptu finish.

The account states that Woods seemed to be in some pain after the rushed finish, and was unable to leave ringside without assistance. Kingston, Big E, and ringside physician Dr. Chris Amann helped him to the back, with one correspondent stating that Xavier had "wrecked" his knee.

Neither WWE nor Woods himself have confirmed the injury as of yet, but there's a chance we could learn more prior to or during tonight's SmackDown Live. The New Day have most recently been feuding with The Usos, whom they lost the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to at SummerSlam.
