It's a sure testament to a film's badness when you essentially need to beg and bribe people to work on it. Movie 43, the brainchild of the Farrelly Brothers, consists of a series of shorts that were filmed over a period of around five years whenever the Farrellys could find an A-list star with a day or two free in their schedules. The esteemed likes of Kate Winslet, Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, Richard Gere and countless others thoroughly embarrass themselves in a series of shorts that are puerile, but not at all edgy. A car-crash entertainment of the highest order, the film has already earned the designation "the Citizen Kane of bad movies", and indeed, is sure to become something of a cult oddity out of its inherent badness. Though it never sticks around in one place for too long, Movie 43 is still a punishingly unfunny experience and surely one that almost everyone involved had hoped would never see the light of day (only Seann William Scott even attended the premiere).
