5 Movie Duos Who Need To Stop Working Together
5. Larry Charles & Sacha Baron Cohen
The Charles/ Cohen partnership started well enough with the amusing Borat before dissolving to the less amusing Bruno and finally the hardly amusing Dictator. Borat was enjoyable because it was something different, the concept was hardly new but the bottom line was it was funny (even if it had nothing on the Ali G Show). Baron Cohen has a wit quicker than most and is one of the few performers who can unequivocally be labelled fearless. Aside from the fact his films are getting lamer, with the profile he now has as well as some of the directors hes worked with he no longer needs formulaic, shock and awe comedies of the like he and Charles have now delivered three films in a row.
