Brendan Rodgers has already agreed a deal to sign 25-year-old Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas and whilst the paperwork is still set to be completed, the club have announced that a fee of £7.6 million has been decided. The Spaniard has already proven himself as a key player for Celta Vigo having started 34 times for the club, managing to score twelve goals in last season€™s campaign. Liverpool released a club statement following Aspas medical at the club:
"Liverpool have tonight agreed a deal in principle with Celta Vigo for striker Iago Aspas, subject to documentation being completed. Aspas can play through the middle or out wide and he could become Brendan Rodgers' second signing of the summer transfer window following a deal for Kolo Touré."
