Arrow Season 4: 7 Ups And 3 Downs From 'Lost In The Flood'
10. Ups...
The Use Of Lesser Characters
One of the most enjoyable moments of the past few Arrow episodes has been the appearance of some supposed D-level rogues at the side of Damien Darhk.
Whereas we’ve previously seen Murmur as a fixture of Darhk’s posse, this week we also found that Cooper, the once incarcerated ex-boyfriend of Felicity Smoak, is working with Damien in his bid to cleanse the world.
Don’t get me wrong, Murmur and Cooper are both merely low grade fodder used to fill a particularly void, but it’s refreshing to see the show have them hanging around as part of Damien’s crew even if it’s merely to be background players for the most part. It certainly helps in giving a very comic book-esque feel to the series, with the funny books thinking nothing of including C and D-list characters at random points as parts of a greater group.
