4. The Latin American Xchange Vs AJ Styles And Christopher Daniels - No Surrender 2006
When one thinks of the greatest tag teams in TNA history, the first few suggested names will probably consist of Beer Money, the Motor City Machine Guns, Triple X, America's Most Wanted, and so on. The Latin American Xchange are a slightly forgotten team in comparison, perhaps due to the in-ring shortcomings of Hernandez and Homicide (probably the former, in truth - his border toss finisher looks particularly dangerous). Despite this, they boast a Wrestling Observer Newsletter award for tag team of the year, and justified this in a breathtaking Ultimate X match with Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles. Managed by Konnan and sporting gangland-style headbands, LAX were an intimidating and effective heel group. Their feud with the high-flying Daniels and AJ spanned a number of matches, but the finish of this one at No Surrender 2006 takes the cake. Daniels displayed his bravery and precision by climbing one of the Ultimate X structures and diving all the way onto the belts in the centre of the X - thereby avoiding Konnan's kendo stick and winning the titles. It was an electric finish, probably one of the most perfectly executed in TNA history, and helped prove that the TNA tag division was the best in the world at the time.
