W. Morrissey was always going over Willie Mack here. There wasn’t a logical other option to conclude their no disqualifications bout. It’s the way he did it that earned this an Up.

He had a calculated attack to pick Willie apart piece by piece. Morrissey didn’t need to dent Willie’s back with a chair, but he did, just like he didn’t need to choke the former X Division Champion with a chain. He only did such a thing because he was able to. The match-ending Big Boot was gorgeous, made only better by the addition of said chair to the attack.

That Willie started off hot and then had a slight comeback later on was crucial. He must be kept somewhat strong here, so having him get some nice kicks in on the former Big Cass is necessary. The same goes for Rich Swann. He shouldn’t defeat Morrissey at Against All Odds, however, it’s imperative that he keeps the look of a main event guy. This is why his post-match brawl with the seven footer went down a treat; both guys looked decent.

A vast improvement on last week’s interaction between the duo. Their match should be a hoot.
