8 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (10 June)

One minor gripe to point out before the good stuff – IMPACT could have done something with the mystery surrounding Sami Callihan’s mystery partner for Against All Odds. Simply revealing just a few minutes later that it’ll be Tommy Dreamer is a questionable booking choice when you consider the magnitude of a surprise entrant in today’s age.

However, they’ll make for a great pairing.

They’ve been involved in an array of stellar weapons-based fights together in IMPACT, most notably at the 2018 Redemption pay-per-view. Needless to say, both are easily two of the greatest at this particular craft. That’s what makes their union that extra bit spicier; they’ve been superb on opposing sides of the ring, but we’re yet to see what they can achieve together.

Dreamer mentioning the age-old motto of the enemy of my enemy is my friend was a tad dry, but hey, it works perfectly in this situation. He, for whatever reason, views Don Callis as an enemy, whereas Callihan has a fine reason to. Their Street Fight vs. the Good Brothers is going to rule.
