With Backlash in the books, the Smackdown brand has a full array a champions, and all of those titles look to be on the line at No Mercy. In additional to the bouts that have already been announced (WWE World Champion AJ Styles against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match, and Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch against Alexa Bliss), two more championship matches are being discussed.

According to The Wrestling Observer, the current plan for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles is for champions Heath Slater and Rhyno to meet The Usos, whom they defeated in a tournament final to initially win the belts. The Usos are expected to win the belts at some point, so that when Chad Gable's injury angle is over, American Alpha can chase the new champions and eventually win the titles.

The Intercontinental Title, meanwhile, will still be caught up in the feud between champion The Miz and challenger Dolph Ziggler. At one point, the No Mercy plan was to have the two men battle in a cage match in order to prevent interference from Maryse (of course, a cage wouldn't stop her from spraying perfume in Dolph's eyes). Those plans could still change, though.
