WrestleMania 29: 10 Reasons It's The Worst One Ever

2. Unenthusiastic Crowd

I don't know if this is a problem with open-air arenas (and going by other years, I don't think it is), but didn't the New Jersey crowd sound really bored as well? Perhaps cottoning onto the fact they'd wasted their money, the crowd didn't seem particularly excited for WrestleMania 29, with only a few wrestlers and spots getting decent pops, while at many pivotal moments (especially in Rock vs. Cena) they seemed completely dead. Part of the blame can be levelled against the booking team, who clumped too many big matches close together, such that the audience were burned out before Rock/Cena even began. Had the 8-man tag actually taken place, it could have been a good buffer bout to settle the crowd down before the main event.
