The two have previous history together which means there are plenty of avenues for storylines and a feud between the pair would be useful for both Orton and Rhodes. Cody has been on the backburner since he lost the Intercontinental Championship but there is no doubt that he has the potential to be a solid main eventer. He needs the big push to get him from mid card to main event and a large part of that movement is making him look competitive against the best the WWE have to offer. Orton has won numerous world championships and although a feud with Sheamus would be interesting, you have to wonder whether another title reign is what he needs. Perhaps he would be better suited to helping push the younger talent and making them look competitive. It doesnt mean that he has to lose the matches, just make them look close to his equal.
