By the title, what I mean is that he is forced down the throats of everyone and when a majority of fans have a problem with him, thats not a good business choice. A week rarely passes without Michael Cole or Jerry Lawler comparing him to Hogan or Austin and placing him among the elite. When it is obvious that the audience hates a wrestler, it just comes across as ignorance on the WWEs part when they dont recognise their audiences feelings. For many years they would ignore the many Cena sucks chants and comment that he was a fan favourite. It shows a disturbing lack of respect that the WWE dont acknowledge how an entire paying audience feel. On top of that he is a walking-talking merchandise stall. Its not the fact that he dresses like a ten-year-old that bothers me, its that every year they change the clothes colour and edit the logo and they start selling it. Its difficult to respect a ten-year veteran when he dresses like a child, speaks like a preacher and talks like Barney.
