WWE Elimination Chamber PPV Main Event Announced
We have no idea why the WWE couldn't have announced this on RAW in a few hours but in any event WWE.com have revealed that the Raw main event for the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-pre-view next month will be CM Punk defending his WWE Title against Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz. Poor R-Truth... seemingly bumped for Kingston for no clear reason (unless he has been hanging out with Evan Bourne again). Also interesting to note that at this point there is no place for John Cena, probably meaning the Kane/Cena program will move into another month and that any chance of a Rock/Cena match being for the WWE title have all but gone now. WWE.com announced the news just a little while ago; "In breaking news, Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis revealed exclusively to WWE.com the Superstars who will compete for the WWE Title in the Raw Elimination Chamber Match: WWE Champion CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, R-Truth, The Miz and Kofi Kingston." The WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view takes place from February 19th, 2012 (just a couple of weeks ago) and will take place at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
