After days of speculation on Twitter that Mark Henry would announce his retirement this week on RAW, we were treated to an emotional segment where Henry, seemingly, was saying goodbye. What we got instead was tomfoolery at it's finest, as Mark Henry interrupted John Cena's promo ending and he then proceeded to pull the wool over all our eyes. Attacking John Cena to end the segment, Mark Henry immediately inserted himself into the WWE Championship picture. He also cemented his status as one of the greatest WWE heels of all time. His promo was emotional, heart-felt, and engrossing: and he used it to bait and switch us all. Well done and well played: we are sold on Mark Henry.
