10 Best Comic Book TV Shows Never Made

Over the last decade, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has left comic book movie fans to want for relatively little. Ten years ago we couldn't have dreamed of the kind of shared universe we get to enjoy today, however there is one property that we'll always look back on as a missed opportunity.

The is no question that The Incredible Hulk is the black sheep of the MCU family, barely ever referenced again with the exception of Bruce Banner and Thaddeus Ross' ongoing existence. Fans everywhere would love to see Mark Ruffalo lead his own Hulk movie, but thanks to issues over the rights of the character, it's something that we will never get to see.

In 2012 however, with the Hulk an established player in the MCU, Marvel were looking at developing a stand alone series with none other than Guillermo del Toro involved. Who could have asked for more from the potential ABC series?

However, thanks to the success of Ruffalo's iteration of the character in Avengers Assemble, Marvel Studios decided against a solo project that would have seen them share the spoils with Universal. Instead, Hulk was kept as a supporting feature of the MCU, with no future solo projects ever likely to happen.
