5. Wolverine Kills His Son

In a pretty hard-hitting move, Rick Remender’s Uncanny X-Force saw Wolverine have to kill his own son, Daken.

Daken and his father have a history of butting heads, with some serious daddy issues coming in to play. Problems were only increased when Daken led the rejigged Brotherhood of Evil Mutants against Logan and X-Force.

The biggest beef that Daken had at this stage was concerning the new school for young mutants that Wolverine had helped to create. Of course, this led to further daddy issues for the angry and resentful Daken, so much so that he promised to slay each and every student that Wolverine took in.

When it came down to it, Wolvie felt that he had no other choice but to kill his own son. With Wolverine and his kind near unkillable, Logan resorted to the tried and trusted method of drowning his offspring in a pool of water, deciding that he couldn't risk the chance of innocent students being offed by his own flesh and blood.
