10 Most Ridiculous Supervillain Plots In Comics History

6. Reverse-Flash Accidentally Gets Barry Allen To Kill Him

Hoo boy, so The Flash and time travel isn't so much opening a can of worms as it is realising that there's multiple timelines and all of them feature different versions of the can of worms, and some of them are evil. Professor Zoom, otherwise known as Reverse-Flash some of the time, is a criminal from the future who uses his knowledge of the past to screw with the modern-day Flash's life. That's included, amongst other things, travelling back in time to kill Barry Allen's wife Iris West (who, it turned out, was from the future herself... she didn't take to that revelation any more than she did to, erm, being murdered). Being able to travel through time is sort of the perfect crime, right? As soon as you do the bad thing, it's back off into the future for you, never to be captured! Then Professor Zoom decided to come back and try to kill Barry's second wife, Fiona Webb, on their wedding day. It's all a ploy to turn The Flash insane once and for all...but it goes a bit tits-up when Barry just straight-up kills Zoom. Which, if you're in the Reverse-Flash's position, you probably should've known would happen since you know The Flash's life story... what a fool.
