15 Injustice Moments That Shocked The World

The 5-U-93-R pills - or, when you're not secretly saying 'super' in text speak, nanotech pills - are an invention made for the Injustice universe in order to justify characters without superpowers being able to damage those with them, as the meds allow the user rudimentary superpowers like superstrength, superspeed, and a significantly greater ability to take a punch.

While these pills are a feature in both the comics and the game, they feel slightly more impressive - and slightly more surprising - in the game, if only because you can actually play as a non-powered character like Harley Quinn or Nightwing and take on enemies like Wonder Woman or Superman, and not have it feel totally out of character.

Sure, it's cool to see Renee Montoya fight Superman in the comics - but there's something about actually getting to play the powered-up character that feels somehow more special, because it's a moment that otherwise wouldn't really be possible without totally breaking your immersion in the game. You'd never expect magical Tic Tacs to be the saving grace of Injustice - but if you considered them that, you wouldn't be wrong.
