6 Reasons Valiant Will Be The Next Big Thing In Comics

1. They're Much Easier On Your Wallet

The common single issue price nowadays is becoming $3.99 and the Valiant comic universe is no different. The nice thing about Valiant is that their entire monthly comic list is under twenty series. Marvel and DC boast much larger numbers but that’s quite a bit more money just to keep up with the goings of all their characters. The latest Marvel crossover event, Secret Wars, started at eight issues long and has been extended to nine. That’s $36 for just the main series, let alone the tons of tie-in issues. The latest Valiant event, The Book of Death, is only four issues long coming in at $16 and there are only a handful of tie-ins for it.

Valiant events also aren’t interrupting all their other books. You can read them independently if you like or buy them all and experience the whole world for less than it would cost to follow one crossover event in Marvel or DC. By applying talented hands on a smaller number of books, it allows the creators to tell the most engaging stories. That way you’re also getting more bang for your buck.
