With Deadpool exceeding expectations at the box office by earning even more than the likes of X-Men: The Last Stand and Iron Man, R-Rated superhero movies becoming the next big thing (or the next big fad depending on how you look at it) feels like an inevitability. There is after all an R-Rated version of Batman v Superman on the way, and now Hugh Jackman's final outing as Wolverine will also have that rating. Considering the fact that Wolverine is a character who has always pushed the boundaries of PG-13, you'd be forgiven for thinking that there really isn't anything new that an R-Rating can bring to the table. Well, you need only look at the comics to find almost countless messed up moments in this character's history that would be perfect for what's sure to be a very violent and bloody take on the fan-favourite mutant. While it's thought that this movie will adapt the Old Man Logan storyline, it's not just that story which features the kind of scenes which will could very well make you lose your lunch upon seeing them in live-action.
