8 Times MCU Cast Members Worked Together Elsewhere

No sh*t, Sherlock.

Since Iron Man was released in 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown and grown, and is now one of the biggest and most popular movie franchises in cinema history. With the initial casting of Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark, the MCU began a pattern of incredible casting.

Now, after over ten years and more than 20 movies, this phenomenal cast has grown to ridiculous proportions. Kevin Feige and co. have made stars out of relative unknowns like Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and added acting powerhouses like Samuel L. Jackson and Anthony Hopkins, leaving them with a huge roster of all shapes and sizes.

With a cast as big as the MCU can boast, there is bound to be crossovers elsewhere. Actors playing characters from different corners of the MCU that you may not expect to share the screen together, that have done just that elsewhere. Whether on the big screen or in TV shows, there are plenty of times the cast have worked with each other outside the Marvel universe, either before or after they joined the MCU.

This standard nerd combines the looks of Shaggy with the brains of Scooby, has an unhealthy obsession with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is a firm believer that Alter Bridge are the greatest band in the world.
