MCU Phase 4: 10 Films That MUST Happen (That Marvel Won't Make)

9. Luke Cage & Iron Fist

Asgardians Of The Galaxy
Netflix/EW

Following on from Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are equally unlikely to be given a break on the big screen. However, there are a few different reasons as to why it would be a great thing, if it ever happened.

If they were billed together, it would mimic their comic book counterparts’ fate. Struggling to ship issues individually, the pair were teamed up to try and pool their fans together and help the characters survive.

As far as on screen drama goes, both Luke Cage and Iron Fist were received well enough, but the martial arts in Iron Fist were clearly rushed and sloppy. The MCU would certainly rectify that.

For what it’s worth, the other Netflix Marvelites Jessica Jones and The Punisher do not feature on the list. Including them all seems redundant and their plots were arguably the best fit for a TV serial portrayal anyway, while their powers wouldn’t add anything major to the existing MCU cast.
