9. Defenders
Just not the Defenders you’re thinking of.
The TV series featuring Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones still faces a rocky and uncertain road to make it to the MCU proper. However, there was another team going by the moniker in the comics, two of whom are already in the MCU.
Those two are Hulk and Doctor Strange, with the team rounded off by Namor and Silver Surfer. Considering Namor was teased in Endgame and Silver Surfer is one of the most popular recently acquired characters, there’s a substantial chance this could happen soon.
You also have to factor in Hulk’s licensing. Marvel Studios are free to use him in whichever movie they wish, but he can’t have any more solo flicks. The MCU struggled to work around this initially, before going on to great success with Ragnarok.
With Thor set to join Guardians, it doesn’t seem like the Thor/Hulk partnership will continue. He could join Asgardians then, but Professor Hulk’s down to Earth personality would probably fit in more with Strange anyway.
The fact that Hulk met the Ancient One means they have an on screen connection right off the bat, too.
