Predicting Marvel's MCU TV Shows

Captain America: The First Avenger is perhaps the MCU's most under-appreciated movie (one worth revisiting, should the opportunity arise), but it's fair to say that it underused one of its biggest draws: The Howling Commandos.

One of Marvel's most famous wartime comic book groups, the Howling Commandos (led by Nick Fury in the comics) were the Allies' premier fighting outfit, and featured the talents of Dum Dum Dugan (played by Neal McDonough), Union Jack (JJ Feild) and Jim Morita (Kenneth Choi). After appearing in The First Avenger, the group featured in the short-lived Agent Carter, although they never managed to be a key focus.

Which is a why a brand new Howling Commandos show, potentially filmed in a Band of Brothers style, would work so well. Sure, there are questions surrounding what Disney would be willing to allow on their service, but the Howling group were once one of Marvel's most popular teams - it makes sense to give them their due on the small screen.
