9. The Vietnam Mummy - The Umbrella Academy: Dallas
Klaus' time in the Vietnam war is vaguely covered within season one of the Netflix show - as we see him sent back in time to fight in the war, and the aftermath of his time there.
However, we see notably little of the actual events of his experience in the war itself, which is sort of a shame, as in the comics it contains one of the most surreal fight scenes in the entire series.
Klaus' squadron is attacked by ninjas, who are after the mummy that the platoon are transporting. Halfway through the fight, it is revealed that they are hunting said corpse because it's alive and chock full of mystic powers, which it promptly turns on Séance's group.
It's absolutely insane in all the best ways, and an easy way for season 2 to provide a good hit of the absurdity that makes both the comic and TV show so damn good.
