With The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event for
the Arrowverse going from one fist-bumping announcement to another, now comes
some news that will put a grin on the face of many a fan.
For all of the various continuities and incarnations of
various DC Comics that Crisis will feature, a new image seems to confirm that
Michael Keaton’s Batman will be added to the names of those acknowledged in
this ginormous Arrowverse crossover.
Granted, the reality is that Keaton’s Caped Crusader – and presumably
the Michelle Pfeiffer take on Selina Kyle – will simply be included in this
newspaper clipping and nothing more, but this is still a nice nod that will
only further add to the ridiculous radius that Crisis on Infinite Earths is covering.
In addition to the main Arrowverse of shows – Arrow, The
Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman, Crisis on Infinite
Earths will also include characters from Smallville, Black Lightning, Birds of
Prey, the 1991 Flash series, Batman: The Animated Series’ Kevin Conroy, and
even an appearance from Burt Ward – who famously appeared as Robin opposite
Adam West’s Batman.
Crisis on Infinite Earths will begin this December and play out over Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and then culminate on January
14th with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
