The Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome aired as a televised movie on February 10th on Syfy, and to celebrate Ladbrokes have launched a slot game in their online casino dedicated to the franchise ahead of the DVD and On Demand release later this month. Battlestar: Blood and Chrome is set in the tenth year of the First Cylon War and follows the story of young pilot William Adama assigned to the newest battlestar in the Colonial fleet €“ Battlestar Galactica. A prequel to the reimagined series, Blood and Chrome is part of a long-running Battlestar Galactica franchise, which started with an original TV series in 1978 and has since expanded to include further TV series, book adaptions, original novels, comic books, a board game and video games.

To celebrate the launch of the Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome game, Ladbrokes are giving away two Early Entry Weekend Passes to the London Super Comic Convention.

The London Super Comic Convention is the UK€™s biggest comic book convention with over 11,000 people attending in 2012, with hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest and greatest comics, comic-related memorabilia, superheroes and graphic novels. Guests include Neal Adams and J Scott Campbell, and during the weekend, panels such as €˜Celebrating 50 Years of Marvel€™s Greatest Characters€™, €˜Batman Through the Ages€™ and €˜DREDD and beyond: the whole wide world of 2000AD€™ will keep you entertained. On Saturday there is a Cosplay Competition for those wanting to show off their skills.
