3. Gary Oldman - Tiptoes (2003)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNIIIfL0LYM A lot of people have no idea that a movie called Tiptoes starring Gary Oldman even exists, and that's a crying shame, because it's about to change your life forever. When you think of Gary Oldman, of course, you probably associate him with all those fine, Oscar-worthy performances and his Chameleon-like ability to transform himself into pretty much any character you can throw at him. Which, in this case, includes a dwarf. Seriously. Here the beloved English actor plays a dwarf, the brother of whom is Matthew McConoughley. McConoughley's character is having trouble telling his fiance that a bunch of his relatives are dwarfs, you see, and that's the plot of the movie. And here's Gary Oldman, for some reason, being in this. I mean, it's not as if he's ever bad or unconvincing in the role, it just seems... wrong. The movie is patronising and tone-confused, and the fact that Gary is right slap bang in the middle of it is cringeworthy as hell. You really don't want to be in a movie of this kind when it goes wrong. Which it totally did here.
