10 Video Games Better Than The Movie They're Based On

2003's Hulk game adaptation suffered from way too much Bruce Banner and not enough green giant. Very few players really wanted to sneak around as the miserable Banner and the Hulk missions, while action-packed, were restrictive and ultimately monotonous.

2005's Ultimate Destruction was a massive step up for the character with a vicious, open world extravaganza where Hulk and the Abomination throw down the way many fans had wanted for the movies.

2008's The Incredible Hulk learned from the mistakes of 2003 and improved upon the strengths of 2005 to provide the peak of Hulk gaming to this day (a new Hulk game would be nice Marvel). Where the Edward Norton film was flawed by poor CGI, a truly awful Abomination character design and a cumbersome romance between Bruce and Betty, the game is a mass destruction adventure with little on its mind beyond Hulk's monstrous antics.

Full of old monsters from the comics, classic character skin unlockables and an open world Manhattan to explore and ransack, the game has a good deal of replay value. Cool stuff. If only a similar level of effort had been put into the other MCU games...
