12 Ridiculously Sexist Movie Scenes That Prove Hollywood Hates Women

11. James Bond Hooks Up With A Sexual Abuse Victim - Skyfall

The Scene: Sévérine (Berenice Marlohe) is showering when, suddenly, James (Daniel Craig) sneaks in the shower behind her, and the two presumably engage in some steamy off-screen shagging. Why It's Sexist: The James Bond franchise virtually defines sexism in cinema, and that apparently hasn't changed much over the years. Sure, Bond doesn't back-hand any women in this movie, but given how it's established earlier in the film that Sévérine is a victim of sexual trafficking (and she's visibly distraught at being reminded of it), to then serve up some surprise sex probably isn't the most considered or thoughtful of approaches. As if that wasn't bad enough, she's killed off a few scenes later after serving her purpose (which is bringing Javier Bardem's Raoul Silva into the movie), with Bond hilariously declaring her death "a waste of good scotch" (a shot glass was balanced above her head before Silva shot her).
