12. Requiem For A Dream - This Is Your Arm On Drugs

It took several times watching this film for me to able to keep my eyes open during the scene where Jared Leto injects heroin into his infected, oozing puncture wound. It makes my esophagus tighten even writing about it now. Desperation fuels our drug-addicted hero to take the needle to his arm one last time in this harrowing scene, but it is the sheer abuse of his arm that makes us sick to our stomachs. I challenge anyone to watch this clip and not take an oath against needles.
11. Cabin Fever - Close Shave
As a woman, this scene encompasses my biggest fear about shaving. Taking a razor to your skin seems so inhuman that its no wonder this scene makes us cringe. Marcy, an unfortunate camper who gets the mysterious illness, gets into the tub to bathe and shave her legs. While we can see the illness has struck her back, it isnt until she takes a swipe of her blade over her shin that she sees the extent this disease has taken on her. Stripping away chunk after chunk of seemingly normal skin, she is left with nothing but a bloody, hacked up leg that makes all of us watching want to grow out our leg hair.
