20 Movie Sequels That Must Be Announced In 2015

10. Die Hardest

Previous Film: The fifth Die Hard film, A Good Day to Die Hard, was easily the worst entry into the franchise to date: boasting an absurd plot (even for the standards of the franchise) and a very tired-looking Bruce Willis (not to mention a terrible Jai Courtney), there was little here worth remembering either as a Die Hard film or even as a straight action flick. Why It Needs To Happen: Because Bruce Willis isn't getting any younger, and something needs to erase those mind-numbing memories of the last film. Even if it's simply an adequate, three-star action outing, that would be perfectly acceptable, and hopefully give John McClane an actual retirement that he can't really back out of (short of death, of course). Current Status: Talks of a sixth film began before the fifth was even released, with Willis hoping that it might be the last one and therefore give the character some sort of closure. The film is in pre-production at the moment, and though Willis insists it is happening, it's best not to believe it until Fox announces that the script's ready and shooting is moving ahead.
