Previous Film: 2012's American Reunion may have been a completely unnecessary sequel, yet for those who grew up with the original movies, it was a welcome return for the likeable host of characters. As much as the movie is all about growing up and moving on, the message also seems to be that you shouldn't lose your youthful essence either, and amid a slew of lewd jokes and nudity, it sticks true to that message. Why It Needs To Happen: Because the four main movies so far have all been pretty fun, and fans likely care enough about the characters to want to catch up with them again in a few years' time. It doesn't need to be anything more than light entertainment to deliver on its promises, and sometimes, that's alright. Current Status: After the solid box office success of Reunion, it didn't take long for plans for a fifth film to materialise, which will reportedly take place in Las Vegas. Even so, barely anything has been heard about it since, and with Jason Biggs' commitment to Orange is the New Black, who knows if he'll even be available?
