Badly aligned, almost pornographic G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA character one-sheets...

Utterly the most useless poster marketing I have ever seen for a Summer blockbuster film. These hot of the press posters for Paramount's G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA are awfully aligned, you can't really make out the faces of the actors playing the roles, let alone get a sense of who the characters they are portraying fit into the story. But I guess that's what happens when you hire Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans for your picture, names that won't sell a movie alone. And really guys, your lame X-MEN movie style costumes don't do anything for anyone and your not showing them off by focusing the camera on those instead of the actors. Yes we can tell these young men and women are the ultimate specimen's of a perfect human body but that ain't gonna sell your movie. The posters come just days before this Sunday's Super Bowl where Stephen Sommers' action movie is expected to be one of the headline previews with the first actual footage from this August's release shown. Let's hope it's not footage cobbled together after five minutes of work, like these posters look to have been made from... gijoenew1gijoenew2gijoenew3gijoenew4gijoenew5gijoenew6 source - coming soon
