After teasing the release of the Fantastic Beasts sequel yesterday with a shot of Gellert Grindlewald and Albus Dumbledore's wands, Warner Bros have today revealed the title of the film, which is set for release in November 2018.

The film is titled Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, confirming that we're going to get to see more of Johnny Depp's bleached-haired sleazeball.

He appears in the cast photo Warner Bros chose to unveil the news, along with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Zoƫ Kravitz, Dan Fogler and Alison Sudol from the first movie...

The second film will once more star Redmayne as magizoologist Newt Scamander and will be set in Paris where Grindelwald has escaped to and is gathering followers. And with his former friend Dumbledore desperate to stop him, the professor will call upon Newt to help.

The reveal also shows off the first look at Jude Law's Dumbledore, who is a little less hairy and a lot more debonair, and another look at Ezra Miller, who returns despite apparently being exploded to nothingness in the first film. He looks a lot more like an angry slam poet this time...

Putting aside the fact that Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald makes no sense, it's not the worst title ever (at least the new bit). The prefix just makes it very obvious that calling this the Fantastic Beasts series is clunky and unnecessary. It should have been called The Wizarding World, or something more catch-all.

But that ship has sailed now. The Crimes Of Grindelwald will be released on November 16th, 2018.
