Middle Earth is full of fleshed out locations. Do you recognise them all?

Middle Earth
New Line Cinema

J.R.R. Tolkien created a whole world of things to enjoy in Middle Earth, imagining new languages, races and places to be inspected and studied. He filled his world with enough detail to keep people exploring it for a lifetime.

From the rolling hills of the Shire to the deepest dungeons of Mordor and everything in between, Tolkien fleshed out his world in detail that has been rarely seen since. Creating a whole history for his fictional land that isn't even touched upon in the main Lord of the Rings series, languages that you can actually learn to speak should you find the inclination, and characters whose ancestry can be traced back through the Ages.

Safe to say then that Tolkien put a huge number of locations in his world, each with their own storied past and although throughout the story of LOTR we only see a small amount of what the world of Middle Earth has to offer, there are still plenty of locations that are visited and expanded upon. It's time for your Middle Earth geography exam, name these locations!
