Mondo's Planet of the Apes Poster Series On Sale Today
Go Ape with the latest Mondo poster series which has gone on sale from today.
Mondo have teamed up with Sideshow Collectibles to produce a series of posters celebrating the Planet of the Apes film series. Five prints have been created for the early classics, Planet of the Apes, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Escape From the Planet of the Apes, Conquest For the Planet of the Apes and Battle of the Planet of the Apes. There's no love for the Tim Burton remake or the recent Rise of the Planet of the Apes but I guess the focus here is on the primary classics. The prints are on sale online from today (Thursday 26th January) for $230, which will also include a bonus sixth poster of the iconic GO APE poster as designed by Jason Edmiston. If the prints aren't sold out today, whatever is left will go on sale tomorrow. Sideshow Collectibles are also planning to offer variants of each print on the Sideshow website.
